International Street Photography Awards

Seconds2Real members Kay von Aspern and Siegfried Hansen are among the 16 finalists of this year’s International Street Photography Award and will be part of the finalist’s exhibition at London Festival of Photography in June 2012.

In 2012, over 2,400 photographers entered the second International Street Photography Awards. From a shortlist of 50 photographers, 16 finalists were selected and will be included in the International Street Photography exhibition at 29-31 Oxford Street from 1 to 30 June 2012. The winner and two runners up will be revealed during the festival.

From Distant Streets in USA

In the exhibition “From Distant Streets,” curator and photographer Richard Bram has gathered together the work of 29 photographers working around the globe in a multitude of styles but with one common thread: their photographs are of unposed, unrehearsed Reality.

Kay von Aspern featured on Lenscratch

When you think of Vienna, one doesn’t immediately think of quirky street photography, but Kay von Aspern has a gift for finding it. Born in Germany, now living in Vienna, Kay is a “Collector of Moments”.

A member of the German-Austrian street photographer collective seconds2real, Kay looks for those unique juxtapositions that can only be found with the heightened visual acuity that comes from split second observations.
